Mission

The West Point Society of Greater Houston is one of the largest and most active West Point Alumni Societies in the United States. We want to serve our members by being the resource in the Houston area to stay connected to West Point and support as many activities as possible through our programs, our foundation and the local parents club of West Point to help the Academy produce leaders of character to serve our nation as Army Officers and community leaders.

Vision

The West Point Society of Greater Houston (WPSGH) is a Texas nonprofit Corporation organized primarily for the benefit and support of its members, support of the Greater Houston community, support of our alma mater, and to foster and promote the ideals of Duty, Honor and Country that are the foundation of the United States Military Academy at West Point.

Lines of Effort and How We Achieve Them

The West Point Society of Greater Houston (WPSGH) is dedicated to supporting West Point graduates, current cadets, and veterans in the Houston area through a variety of initiatives:

  • High School Recruitment: Through Field Force volunteers, we recruit the brightest students from Houston for West Point, with 31 cadets admitted this year—more than any other city worldwide.

  • Veteran Support: We build strong networks to support veterans, linking them with resources and opportunities.

  • Career & Business Development: We connect West Point grads with career opportunities and support veteran-led businesses, including hosting monthly luncheons and business events.

  • Strategic Communication & Advising: We influence and impact corporate and civic leadership in Houston, strengthening ties between local businesses and the West Point community.

  • Events & Sponsorships: We raise funds for veterans' programs and host signature events, including the Annual Founders Day Dinner, nine luncheons featuring world-class speakers like Gen. Petraeus and Jim Olson, and nine Warrior B2B Breakfasts focused on mentorship and job transitions.

Additionally, we partner with organizations like Next Op, Combined Arms, and Camp Hope to support veteran initiatives, and host watch parties for Army and Academy games, drawing hundreds of veterans and their families together. Through these programs and events, WPSGH fosters a strong, engaged West Point community that supports graduates, cadets, and veterans alike.

Sponsorship Program

Contribute at the level you desire!

Platinum Level - $10,000 and above
At the Platinum level, in addition to the benefits listed below, your company’s logo will be prominently featured on all WPSGH event communications throughout the year, including email notifications. Additionally, your logo will be displayed on a special banner or flag at key events such as Army Football Watch Parties, West Point Society Luncheons, and B2B Breakfasts.

Gold Level - $5,000 and above
As a Gold-level donor, you will receive all benefits from the previous levels, plus exclusive perks: reserved seating at the guest speaker’s table during Founder’s Day, and invitations to attend and/or speak at B2B Breakfasts and Society/Academy Luncheons throughout the year.


Silver Level - $1,000 and above
Silver-level donors will receive all the benefits listed previously, as well as recognition in the Founder’s Day Program, their company logo displayed on the WPSGH website, and public acknowledgment during the Founder’s Day Program.

Bronze Level - $500 and above
Bronze-level donors will receive 2 tickets to the Founder’s Day event.
